“We consider this petition to be a malicious fabrication, strategically orchestrated by certain individuals within the party with the sole intention of sowing division and discrediting our integrity as youth leaders” some constituency youth organizers of the ruling NDC in the Eastern region have explained.
The concerns of the six youth organizers was in relation to a circulating petition titled “Enough Is Enough: Eastern Regional Youth Organizers Reject Backdoor YEA Appointments, which has been attributed to them.
However, in a rejoinder, the youth organizers emphasized “As loyal members of the great NDC and committed leaders of the youth wing, we have always adhered to due process in addressing concerns and grievances”.
In a press release, the six youth organizers from Akropong, Achiase, Akyemansa, New Juaben North, Kade and Yilo Krobo assured members of the party that, the circulating petition does not represent our views or sentiments and must be treated as a document written in bad faith.

PRESS RELEASE!!
24/05/2025
REJOINDER TO PURPORTED PETITION: “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH: EASTERN REGIONAL YOUTH ORGANIZERS REJECT BACKDOOR YEA APPOINTMENTS”
We, the undersigned Eastern Regional Constituency Youth Organizers whose names have been falsely attributed to a widely circulating petition titled “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH: EASTERN REGIONAL YOUTH ORGANIZERS REJECT BACKDOOR YEA APPOINTMENTS”, wish to categorically disassociate ourselves from the said document and strongly deny any knowledge, involvement, or endorsement of its content.
We consider this petition to be a malicious fabrication, strategically orchestrated by certain individuals within the party with the sole intention of sowing division and discrediting our integrity as youth leaders. It is deeply unfortunate that our names have been attached to such a document without our consent, especially one laced with inflammatory language and clear disrespect towards party leadership and institutions.
As loyal members of the great NDC and committed leaders of the youth wing, we have always adhered to due process in addressing concerns and grievances. We believe in constructive engagement, mutual respect, and the protection of the party’s image at all times. The language and tone of the said petition do not reflect our values or approach to conflict resolution.
We are deeply disappointed by this desperate attempt to use our names to achieve divisive ends. We urge party leadership, stakeholders, and the general public to disregard the petition in its entirety. It does not represent our views or sentiments and must be treated as a document written in bad faith.
We remain committed to working in unity and in the interest of the youth and the broader goals of the National Democratic Congress.
