The new Juaben citizens in the USA and Management of the Eastern Regional Hospital in Koforidua have inaugurated a refurbished female special medical ward to enhance patients’ access to quality healthcare in the hospital.
The refurbishment was done by new Juaben citizens who ply their trade in the USA.
The projects include furnished washroom, sliding doors and TV set in all the three rooms. They also donated 100-bed spread.
Dr. Cardinal Newton – Acting Director of the regional hospital affirmed that they wouldn’t have finished if they were to do it themselves.
He expressed gratitude to Koforidua citizens in the USA for the kind gesture.
“We aim to make the hospital one of the best and maintain it in Africa,” he said
He called on stakeholders to contribute their quota to see the uplift of the hospital
Mr. Solomon Gyamfi also known as Ultimate Phones who happens to be the Project coordinator, On behalf of all, he commended all who contributed towards to refurbishment of the said ward.
Nana Twumasi, Gyasehene of New Juaben South also on his part thanked Koforidua citizens in the USA for thinking about the community. He prays for Gods protection among them.
The New Juaben South Municipal Assembly also expressed profound gratitude for the kind gesture, saying it shows signs of love to the community and has charged them to do more for the hospital going forward.
