Junior High students in the New Juaben North municipality of the Eastern region have been urged to take their lessons seriously in order to be what they desire in the future.
Final year students have also been assured of prices should they pass well in their final BECE.
Speaking at Jumapo at a durbar oganised by the Municipal Education and Health Directorate for students as part of Menstrual Day, a representative of the NDC Parliamentary candidate for New Juaben North, Samuel Adongo, emphasised on the need for students to be focused and desist from behaviours that can be hindrance to their education.
Mr. Adongo, however, pledged to continue to support education within the municipality and therefore called on all stakeholders to join the train.
He again advised students to take good care of their health by observing personal hygiene in high esteem, especially during the time of menstruation.
He therefore donated a sum of Ghc500 to support organisers for educating students.
Organisers were grateful to the NDC PC and assured they will liase with him anytime there is the need to ensure both educational and health needs of students becomes a top priority.
