The Eastern regional NPP youth Organizer, Mr. Adamu Musa Raha has commended delegates in the region for their role in choosing candidates who, in his view, demonstrated competence and a strong connection with the people.
He expressed optimism about securing a majority of seats in the region in the upcoming 2024 elections, attributing this confidence to the caliber of more energetic Youth as candidates selected in the Eastern region.
About 17 more youth have been elected as parliamentary candidates in the Eastern region to represent the New Patriotic Party in their various constituencies in the upcoming 2024 elections.
Speaking on Afeema FM on Monday, the regional Youth Organizer highlighted the positive outcome of the just ended NPP Parliamentary primaries, emphasizing that the results signify the party’s readiness to retain political power.
Thus, he has sent a strong notice to the National Democratic Congress that they should watch out for the NPP come 2024 general elections.
Mr. Adamu Musa Raha expressed confidence in the party’s prospects to clinch victory in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
He said “The New Patriotic Party is well strategized to embark on a campaign that will dismantle the NDC even before 7th December. It’s time to break the 8 to continue providing solutions that the people of Ghana so much need.”
“Infact, I must sound this caution to the NDC that, they should get ready! The NPP is coming like Kakai” he told Nsempawura the host of the show.
The regional Youth organizer used the opportunity to advise the young Parliamentary candidate’s elect to serve as youth ambassadors who should not lose touch with their constituents.
To achieve this, he has called on Members of Parliament who entered at youthful age to guide and mentor the young parliamentarians to advance the cause of the youth.
Adamu Musa Raha encouraged party members and leaders to put away their difference and refrain from acts which could affect the party’s victory.
He emphasized the need for unity within the party, urging all contestants to rally behind the selected candidates as a form of cooperation after the competition.
