Hon Alexander Akwasi Acquah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Akyem Oda Constituency has provided academic support to Mr Emmanuel Appau Bosompem, a brilliant but needy student in Akim Oda Constituency.
The Beneficiary attended Living Bread School in Akim Aboabo and obtained an excellent Grade 1 in all subjects in the just ended 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
Hon Alexander Akwasi Acquah who visited the young man in school was delighted to meet him and promised to provide him the financial support in pursing his Senior High level education at Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC –Legon).
“I want you to take your books seriously, study hard and obtain a good grades after your education here in PRESEC. I promise you that, I will help you enrolled into the Ghana Medical School, provide you the financial support, fully sponsored by the Community Hospitals Group since I am the Chief Executive Officer, the Akyem Oda legislator assures”.
Mr Emmanuel Appau Bosompem expressed gratitude to the MP and his working committee for the visit, immense support and assurances.
He pointed out that, it had been his dream to enter RESEC – Legon and by the Grace of God, entering PRESEC – Legon has afforded him the opportunity to study to meet his dream.
He told the MP and members of his working committee that he will never disappoint them. He assured everyone that he will study harder to obtain excellent grades to the admiration of all.
Members of the MP working committee who accompanied the MP to PRESEC – Legon were Mr Benjamin Kuuku Baiden (Akim Oda NPP Constituency Secretary and Chairman of MP’s Health Working Committee), Mr David Okyere – Okyeman (Akim Oda NPP Constituency Organiser and Chairman of MP’s Employment Committee) and Mr Sylvester Ofori – Opana (Vice Chairman, MP’s Infrastructure working Committee).
