District Chief Executive of Okere in Eastern Region, Daniel Nana Addo -Kenneth has outlined a catalog of achievements within the seven traditional areas in the district under the NPP government of President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.
The current release specifically highlights the substantial progress made in the Awukugua Traditional Area, including Awukugua and its downhill towns.
The accomplishments within the Awukugua Traditional Area encompass a wide spectrum of projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life for the residents.
Notable achievements include the construction of the Awukugua bypass and town roads, reconstruction of the Awukugua Durbar grounds, and the ongoing construction of the Okomfo Anokye Tourism reception center.
Education received a significant boost with the construction of modern facilities such as an ultramodern KG at Asifaw North, a 3-unit JHS classroom block at Asifaw North, and a 6-unit classroom block at Nkyenoa.
