Some final year students of Ofori Panin Senior High School, OPASS in Eastern region, who completed school this year have appealed to management to as a matter of urgency fix the bedbugs infestation problems in the dormitories.
According to the students the situation is worrying and would not wish other students continue to endure bedbugs attacks for three years on campus.
The students said this when speaking to the media when leaving campus to their various homes after their final papers.
They called for regular fumigation of the dormitories to mitigate the bedbugs infestation.
Some of the students were also concerned about overcrowding in the dormitory.
Whereas some said , food served them were of low quality and quantity hence went hungry at night.
Some of the students were also concerned with the poor state of sanitary facilities on campus with particular emphasis on urinal and toilet.
Regular power outages on campus was stressed as one of the pressing challenges that needs to be addressed.
Few female students were emotional when they spoke good about headmaster of the school Mr.Ernest Antwi Gyimah.
The student said ,he was like a father who did everything possible for them and continue to encourage them to learn hard.
They prayed for God’s blessings and strength for the headmaster.
