A double orphan student of St. Peter’s Senior High School in Kwahu Nkwatia in the Eastern region with 6A’s is struggling to pay his admission fee at KNUST.
Kingsley Ofori Ampofo who has lost both parents came out with flying colors from St. Peter’s SHS at Kwahu Nkwatia with 6As in 2021 WASSCE Results.
Hon. Kwabena Korankye, Assembly Member for Asuom Amanfrom took upon himself to purchase the admission form for him and did all the initial processes to get him admission on the spot at KNUST.
He was offered to pursue a 6-year Doctor in Pharmacy course.
But the student is struggling to mobilize to pay his fees and buy other academic essentials.
A philanthropist who is chairman of the Omanbapa Foundation, Kwaku Adu-Gyamfi has offered to pay the tuition and hostel bill.
The student however needs more financial support.
