The palm of a ten (10) year pupil of Azza M.A. Basic School in the Yilo Krobo Municipal of the Eastern Region is rotting away due to lack of money to seek medical attention.
Abigail Namo, a single mother of four (4) children, is appealing for funds to seek medical attention for her son- Michael Narh to save him from losing his palm.
The 10-years-old boy suffered injuries to the hand after being knocked by a motorcycle, locally called “Aboboya” two weeks ago in the Azza farming community.
The mother of the victim, Abigail Namo told Rite Fm news that she had traveled for a week when she was called and informed about the incident.
According to the mother, her son was home in the morning when she set off to Somanya only to hear the gory news.
Doctors demand seven thousand Ghana cedis (Ghc7000) to perform surgery on the palm of Machel Narh but the family could not afford it.
The Assemblyman for the area, Hon Stephen Nyumutsu told Nenebi David Ayertey that the mother of the injured boy is a single mother and he is therefore appealing to the general public for the support he’s by contributing towards her son’s medical bills to save his hand.
