The Eastern South Police Command is investigating circumstance around death of two lovers in a room at Kade in Kwaebirim Municipality of Eastern region.
22-year-old man allegedly died by suicide after reportedly killing his girlfriend.
The deceased was found dead in his single room on Monday morning, February 2, 2026.
His girlfriend aged 21, was also found dead in the same room with severe head injuries.
The cause of the incident is yet to be established by Ghana Police Service who have since visited the scene and commenced investigations to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
The bodies have been conveyed to the morgue for preservation and autopsy.
The young woman survived by a three-year-old child.
