Fifty (50) residents of Addo -Nkwanta a farming community in Akuapem North Municipality of the Eastern Region have been displaced by a rainstorm disaster that struck the community.
The rainstorm ripped off 40 houses destroying household properties and displacing occupants of the house.
Assessment by the National Disaster Management Organization revealed that the affected persons included 20 children.
Some of the victims are salvaging their properties and reroofing their affected buildings.
