A rainstorm has ripped off 24 houses in Atiwa East District of the Eastern Region displacing a total of 64 persons
Four communities affected are Tiawiaa, Kadowaso, Awirensua, and Anyinam.
Also affected were Anyinam Zion Kingdargaten school block and Anyinam Methodist Basic School
The displaced residents are currently perching with friends and families while others sleep in Churches amid concerns of social distancing in the fight against COVID-19.
The Atiwa East District Director of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), Anokye Frimpong Philip told mybrytfmonline.com that assessments have been done to facilitate relief support for the victims.
