Thirty Seven (37) new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in the Eastern Region increasing the regional tally to 835.
The new confirmed cases are among 992 new COVID-19 positive cases recorded from parts of the country announced by the Ghana Health Service(GHS) increasing Ghana’s case count to 21,077.
These are samples taken from the period between June 18 and July 1, 2020
The announcement by the (GHS) Monday, July 6, 2020, the number of recoveries and discharge has also increased to 16, 070 however Seven more deaths recorded increasing the death toll 129.
The active Coronavirus cases in the country are now 4,878.
