Eastern Regional Minister Seth Kwame Acheampong has congratulated Nana Osei Adjei, alias Dejoe, for securing victory as the newly elected parliamentary candidate for the New Juaben North constituency in NPP primary held on January 27,2024.
In a closely contested race, Acheampong, who also vied for the candidacy, acknowledged Nana Osei Adjei’s triumph with 253 votes against his own 183.
The other contenders, Sampson Annor, Joseph Osei Djaba, and Philip Twum, received 2, 47, and 3 votes, respectively.
Acheampong, despite his defeat, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the party for the opportunity to participate in the democratic process.
A statement posted on his Facebook timeline also commended the leadership and management of the NPP for their invaluable guidance and support throughout the entire journey.
Acknowledging the unwavering support of the New Juaben North Constituency Party Leadership, delegates, and supporters, Seth Kwame Acheampong emphasized their role as a driving force behind his commitment to serve the Communities, region, and the NPP family.
Further recognizing the dedication and tireless efforts of friends who stood by him, Seth Acheampong highlighted how their belief in his vision strengthens his determination to continue working for the betterment of all.
The Regional Minister urged everyone to remain focused on the shared goal of “breaking the 8,” emphasizing the importance of forging ahead together.
