The catholic priest of the St. Joseph Catholic church at Asokore-Koforidua has admonished the newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive for New Juaben North Municipal to serve his people with humility.
In an atmosphere charged with a renew spirit of thanksgiving, Father Sintim underscore the purpose of Samuel Adongo serving humanity as a natural law which the Almighty God expect from all leaders.
Rev Father Sintim recognised the divinity behind the nomination of Honourable Samuel Adongo as MCE for the municipality.
“I know you from Oda, I know your family and I can say that your nomination and subsequent confirmation as MCE is purely divine, so strive to serve humanity with humility” he admonished.

The man of God made these pronouncements at the St. Joseph Catholic church Asokore in Koforidua when Hon. Samuel Adongo visited the church on Sunday, May 18 to show appreciation to God after his overwhelming confirmation.
With tears of joy, Hon. Samuel Adongo thanked and praised God for the honour and responsibility bestowed on him as the MCE and asked for guidance to transform the municipality.
He also sort the corporation and support of all in his quest to reset the municipality as enshrined in the agenda of President John Dramani Mahama.
“I am here to serve as I have always said, I am a servant” he added.
Hundreds of NDC party supporters, party executives, family and friends as well as supporters of the opposition NPP were in attendance to give their support to the MCE.
Assembly members and staff of the municipal assembly were also present for the occasion to show solidarity to the new MCE.
Also, chiefs and traditional leaders in colorful display of culture were seen at the thanksgiving service to support Hon. Adongo as he shows gratitude to the Almighty God.
