In a bid to contribute toward achieving Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3), which focuses on ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all ages, The Final Call, an international non-governmental organization (NGO), has extended its support to Koforidua Freeman Methodist Basic School in the New Juaben South Municipality.
The initiative, focused on humanitarian and community development, featured a free health screening for both students and nearby residents. In addition to the medical outreach, The Final Call donated school uniforms, burglar-proof window installations, and other essential supplies to improve safety and enhance the well-being of children and families in the area.

A Message of Hope and Healing
Founder of The Final Call, H.E. Rev. Dr. Angela Patricia Alexis (Ph.D.), emphasized the organization’s commitment to empowering youth and supporting families as part of their broader spiritual and social mission.
“We’re here to bless these young learners,” she said, stressing that God has a plan for the youth and that they must be spiritually equipped to be good citizens of His Kingdom. Dr. Alexis shared that this work is rooted in a divine calling to prepare the next generation for the future—both physically and spiritually.
As part of the outreach, the NGO also donated 38 maternity packs to support expectant mothers. Each pack included essentials like nappies, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and detergents — items that contribute to safer, more comfortable childbirth experiences in hospitals.

“We believe in holistic care,” Dr. Alexis added. “By supporting both children and their mothers, we help build stronger families and, ultimately, a stronger Ghana.”
A Spiritual Mandate for Ghana
Dr. Alexis issued a call for national reflection, stating that Ghana holds a special spiritual mandate to prepare for the return of Jesus Christ. “God wants to use Ghana to spread the gospel worldwide,” she declared. “We are preparing a people for the great and dreadful day of the Lord.”
She further explained that her vision includes a movement of righteousness among the youth. “Every generation we inspire brings Ghana one step closer to spiritual renewal,” she said.

Addressing Public Health Through Faith and Education
On the topic of health, Dr. Alexis expressed concern over preventable deaths in Ghana due to poor dietary habits and lifestyle choices. She emphasized the need to return to natural, healthy eating — encouraging more fruits, vegetables, exercise, and less processed foods.
“God has called The Final Call to help Ghanaians live longer, healthier lives,” she said. “That’s why I’m here — to offer health education, spiritual guidance, and righteous living for all generations.”
She also announced that The Final Call will extend its mission across the country, urging citizens to “reflect, repent, and prepare — for the Kingdom of God is at hand.”
Impact on Education
Melissa Alexis, Administrator of The Final Call, shared that the donations were carefully targeted to assist students facing hardship, ensuring they have the tools needed to succeed in their education.

The school’s Headmistress, Madam Bernie Kaki Caesar, expressed heartfelt gratitude to The Final Call for their timely and generous support, describing the intervention as “life-changing” for many students and families.
