Sixteen passengers have sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident in Abuakwa North Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The victims were rushed to Hawa Memorial Saviour Hospital at Akyem Osiem.
According to an eyewitness, the accident involved three (3) vehicles.
“The first vehicle collided with a Kia container with registration Number GT 6575-19.The Kia container with the inscription Capital View Hotel traveling from Koforidua to Bunso. According to the Driver, it failed to break and ended up hitting 2 Hyundai H100 cars with registration Number GW8230-17 and ER 1828-13. It also hit another Taxi before coming to a halt in the middle of the Bunso-Koforidua Highway at Ettukrom at 3:00pm. There was no death recorded” The eyewitness said.
