A driver in charge of a Toyota Saloon car is in critical condition after a head-on collision with a Kia Bongo Truck at Asamang Tamfoe stretch of the Accra to Kumasi Highways.
The accident occurred Monday, January 11, 2021, at about 11:00am.
The driver was reportedly slumbering behind the steering wheel.
According to the eyewitnesses, “the driver of the Saloon car had a slight slumber whilst driving on a constant speed and incidentally veered off into the oncoming Kia Bongo truck. The driver of the Saloon car sustained serious injuries and was taken to Enyiresi Government Hospital for treatment.”
