New Juaben North Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Comfort Asante, has urged Unit Committee candidates to make themselves visible to the public in future elections to get the needed attention.
She insisted, most candidates, who participated in Tuesday’s District Level elections were not known to the public as compared to those vying for Assemblymember positions.
Speaking to the media after touring some polling centres in Asokore, Effiduase and Akwadum, the MCE however, was satisfied with public participation in the exercise and also commended officials of the Electoral Commission for their selfless work.
On youth participation in the Local Governance System, Madam Comfort Asante urged the youth to take advantage of the opportunity and support the development of the country by contributing their quota at all times
