Hon Gifty Twum-Ampofo, the MP for Abuakwa North Constituency who was special Guest of honour at the launch of Absalom of Politics bought five 5 copies for ¢5,000.
She advised parents, teaming youth, the clergy, Christians, politicians, Chiefs and Nananom and the larger society as a whole to purchase the latest Absalom book and read and must be guided by the content because each and every one has a share in the book.
The MP indicated that patronizing the book will help Ghanaians desist from the characteristics of Absalom behavior and attitudes of bad intentions as pull-him-down syndrome is too much in African society.
About the author:
The author of the Absalom of Politics book is called Nana Twum Ofosu – Asante, popularly known as Nana Oat, a native of Nsutam and Osiem in the Eastern Region with highest education in PhD.
He is the Eastern Regional Coordinator of the Free Senior High School policy.
He said Absalom of politics is seeking to address society which has ‘Absalom’ who is a son of David had a bad character which retarded progress.
According to the author, Absalom of Politics is in every in human endeavors most especially with African politics, the clergy, religious leaders, in the family, clans, institutions, departments, Towns, villages and the larger society as a whole.
He urged Ghanaians to desist from such characteristics of Absalom but to look up to human centered developments and progression for the betterment of mankind.
