A grand ceremony has been held at Asokore Dabiasem to celebrate the enskinment of Alhaji Mohammed Osumanu as the New Juaben North Fulani Chief.
The event, attended by a diverse group of dignitaries and community members, demonstrated important moment in the cultural and social life of the Gyamfikrom Electoral Area.
The ceremony was attended by notable figures, including the Eastern Regional Fulani Chief, representatives of the Asokore Chiefs led by the Adontenhen of Asokore, and the New Juaben North Zongo Chief, along with other Zongo and Muslim leaders.
Key political figures from the region were also present, with the NPP represented by Hon. Nana Osei-Adjei, NPP parliamentary candidate and members of the Party’s Constituency Executives, and the NDC represented by Hon. Samuel Adongo ,NDC Parliamentary candidate and his team.
Hon. Kankam Twumasi Daniel, the Assemblyman for the Gyamfikrom Electoral Area, explained the importance of the event in promoting cultural harmony, community unity, and social development.
“The enskinment of Alhaji Mohammed Osumanu is a pivotal moment for Dabiasem and the wider Gyamfikrom Electoral Area,” he stated. “It underscores our commitment to preserving our cultural heritage while fostering unity and collaboration within the community.”

As the new Fulani Chief, Alhaji Mohammed Osumanu is expected to play a crucial role in the ongoing efforts to strengthen community ties and promote development within the New Juaben North Municipal Assembly.
He is expected deal with complaints of cow destroying crops of farmers in rural parts of the municipality to foster hamony.
