A DAF cargo truck with the registration number GX-3443-21 and cargo filled with items was involved in an accident at the Koforidua-Ada intersection in the Eastern region’s New Juaben South Municipality.
The tragic event happened as the DAF freight truck was transporting supplies to Koforidua.
The DAF truck on its way to Koforidua collided with an empty Hyundai H100 commercial vehicle parked at gas filling at Ada.
As a result of the event, a Hyundai H100 commercial vehicle with the registration number ER-792-X was completely condemned.
At the scene, no injuries were reported.
An eyewitness claims that the tragic collision was caused by the ongoing road construction project’s slick conditions.
Personnel from Ghana National Fire Service quickly rushed to intervene.
Drivers and pedestrians pleaded with the contractor to speed up the project to end the bad accident occurrences on the road.
