A 35-year old man, Justice Prah was seen dead in a pit meant for toilet which was covered with four sticks at Ekoso, near Asamankese in the West Akim Municipal of the Eastern Region.
Justice Prah, who is populary known as ‘Kwame Police’ is a former a Community Police Assistant.
According to Assembly Member for Ekoso, Korley Amarkwei Richard, parents of the deceased called him Sunday that they cannot see their son since Saturday evening.
Few minutes later, some people who were passing by saw the deceased on the pit and they rushed to call for help but unfortunately, he was already dead.
Mr. Korley Amarkwei Richard said preliminary observation indicated that the deceased fell in the pit with his chest hitting the wall.
The incident was reported to the Police and they have taken the dead body to mortuary for further investigation.
