Executives of New Juaben South Constituency of the ruling New Patriotic Party,NPP, have assessed the performance of the Member of Parliament Hon Michael Okyere Baafi exactly two years in office.
January 7, 2023 which was constitutional day was two years when the lawmaker assumed office.
A statement issued by the constituency executives of the party Saturday Jointly signed by the Chairman Charles Oseipoku Boakye and Secretary Alhaj Abubakar Alhassan stated that “exactly two years today, you answered the call of New Juaben South Constituents to represent them in Ghana’s Parliament.
The call was for you to continue the good works of predecessors in terms of legislation, lobbying for projects and opportunities for your constituents.
Judging from the above, we can only be proud for ever having you as a Member of Parliament for just half way into your first term in office.
They listed that “in just 2 years in office, the Constituency has seen much impactful interventions.
Notably are the provision of educational facilities, materials and interventions such as Special Classes for BECE Candidates to improve performance.
Your interventions made us see improvement of road networks in the Constituency”.
The party executives also claimed the MP’s support for the Health sector is unprecedented and that is leading to the construction two Polyclinics at Zongo and Nyamekrom.
Additionally, he has created Jobs, scholarship ( local and foreign) for the Youth and provided financial support for the constituents a gesture they described as “unmatched”.
The Constituency executives also commended the MP for his massive contribution to the development of the party by constructing an ultra modern storey building.
The party in the Constituency by your kind benevolence has a P.A System Van, A Bus and full furnished Altra Modern Party Office for the smooth operation of the party.
“You have indeed proven that, it is possible to combine Parliamentary and Official Engagements but still be visible in your in constituency.
You have indeed smoothen the Party’s Operation in the Constituency.The Party on this occasion can say without a shred of doubt that, you have kept faith with them”.
The statement by the constituency executives concluded with encouragement to the Hon.Michael Okyere Baafi”to keep the good works up but also pray for wisdom, grace, and love from God on your second year as A Member of Parliament and forevermore”
