Pabby Saraphina, a young police officer stationed at the Eastern Regional Police Headquarters, is gearing up to break the Guinness World Record for the longest painting marathon by an individual.
The current record stands at four days, but Pabby plans to exceed that with a five-day nonstop painting session, focusing on nature-inspired themes.
After applying for the record last year, Pabby has been preparing for the right moment to start her challenge.
Confident in her endurance and determination, she believes she has what it takes to set a new world record.
She also revealed her future ambition of establishing her own art gallery, which she hopes will further showcase her talent and love for painting.
During an interview a live studio interview on Bryt FM News in Koforidua, Pabby called on corporate entities in Ghana to support her in this endeavor.
The painting marathon is scheduled to begin on September 20 at the Police Depot, located opposite the Police Church.
Pabby is well-known in the art community, having previously painted and presented a portrait of the Inspector General of Police (IGP).
