A Tipper Truck with registration number GT 7250-19 carrying limestone has crashed into the Asitey Curve in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, leaving the driver, Ati, dead.
The sad incident occurred in the late hours of Monday, December 26, 2022 with the situation been attributed to brake failure.
After hours of joint Fire Service operations by the Somanya and Kpong Fire Stations, the mortal remains of the young driver was retrieved and deposited at the Atua Community Hospital.
The police has since commenced an investigation into the sad incident.
