An unidentified man, believed to be in his early 20s, was discovered hanging in a farm at Latutu, a suburb of Akyem Tontro in the Abuakwa North Municipality of the Eastern Region of Ghana.
The body was found by Mr. Emmanuel Abayateh, known as Akyem Tontro’s Best Farmer, while returning from his daily farm duties with his workers.
The Assemblyman for the Osiem-Afigya Electoral Area confirmed the incident, stating that the Tafo District Police Command had been informed and is taking further action.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Akyem Tafo Government hospital.
Meanwhile, the cause of his death is yet to be unveiled as police begins investigation.
