The Eastern Regional Minister, Honourable Eric Kwakye Daffour has said over 15,000 people has been given a job in the Region from 2017 to 2020.
He said all sectors created direct and indirect jobs to address the unemployment situation in the Country.
Honorable Eric Kwakye Daffour said this during Nation Building Update in Accra.
Below are details of jobs created, released by the Minister:
Teaching Staff under GES: 4,669
Non-Teaching staff under GES: 1,776
Hand Pollinators: 9,701
Local Government Service: 713
Doctors: 66
Nurses: 2,372
Other staff for Health sector – 810
Youth Employable skills (7 modules) – 16,101
Forestry Commission Supervisors- 523
Assistant Supervisors for Forestry – 344
Field Assistant for Forestry Commission – 8,130
NABCO (Educate Ghana) – 2,205
NABCO (Heal Ghana) – 445
NABCO (Enterprise Ghana) – 420
NABCO (Civic Ghana) – 440
NABCO (Feed Ghana) – 550
