The suspect
An Electoral Commission official has been arrested by the police at Kintampo south constituency of the Bono East region.
According to an official statement, the EC official was caught engaging in electoral offences during the ongoing general elections.
The suspect is currently under investigation for issuing about 15 ballot papers to voters that omitted the first presidential candidate at the Ampesika-Bayere polling station.
