The government’s spokesperson on governance and security, Palgrave Boakye-Danquah, is optimistic that Ghana’s economy will soon recover despite the current economic difficulties.
Ghanaians were given assurances by Palgrave Boakye-Danquah that the Akufo-Addo administration would make use of economic policy efforts to promote growth and prosperity.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Owusu Adjei (Patoo) on Adwenekasa on Accra-based Original FM 91.9, Mr Boakye-Danquah made this assertion.
“The government would revive and revitalize the country’s economy and put it back on the path of rapid growth”, he said.
He said that the administration had proposed a number of economic measures, including asking the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to lend a hand in the short term to help us mend our finances.
Palgrave Boakye-Danquah claimed that the COVID-19 pandemic’s hurdles and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine had seriously damaged the nation’s economy.
