According to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the challenging circumstances Ghanaians are currently facing will end.
He pleaded with Ghanaians to trust him to address the issues the nation was experiencing.
On Sunday, October 23, as part of his three-day visit to the area, he made the following statement at the St Mark Anglican Church in Kyebi, Eastern Region “I know the challenges Ghanaians are facing, I appeal to you to have faith in me to solve the challenges, this too shall pass.” He said.
Like other nations, Ghana is dealing with economic difficulties.
When compared to the dollar, the local currency, the Cedi, is performing poorly.
Charles Adu Boahen, a minister of state in the finance ministry, stated that based on meetings he has attended, it appears that all nations, whether in Europe, Africa, or Asia, are dealing with the same economic problems, such as high inflation, food insecurity, currency depreciation, and rising youth unemployment.
According to him, there doesn’t seem to be much hope for relief in the coming year.
He has therefore urged everyone to continue making cuts.
