The incumbent MP for the Assin Central Constituency and candidate for the NPP’s presidential nomination, Mr Kennedy Agyapong, has urged the party’s delegates to put the future of Ghana’s youth before their own interests.
The bulk of the populace is backing his candidacy because he thinks that the nation’s youth would be crucial to the NPP’s triumph in the 2024 elections.
The outspoken MP and businessman pleaded with party members to vote for him as the greatest candidate before the 2024 elections in order to help the NPP overcome its current economic difficulties. He made this request in an interview with MAK TV in Kumasi.
“If NPP wants to win in 2024, then the delegates must think about the youth because a survey conducted suggests that about 88 percent of the youth want me to be President, so that should be a message to the polling station executives and all the delegates,” he stated.
