The Eastern Regional Director of Communications of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Evans Osei Yeboah popularly known as ‘Tsooboi’ has said the current economic hardship will not take the party to opposition.
According to him, President Akufo-Addo is putting measures in place to reestablish hope in the financial sector of the country.
Speaking in an interview with Nhyiraba Nartey Solomon of Bryt fm, Mr Osei Yeboah affirmed that every country is experiencing economic hardship in recent times.
He stated the economic crisis is not as a result of mismanagement of the country’s economy by President Akufo-Addo led administration but a global one.
He promised that the economy will restore back to its normal position to enable Ghanaians to live a better life as soon as possible.
Mr Osei Yeboah indicated that NPP has delivered in terms of infrastructure development in the country.
‘‘Every country is facing an economic crisis now and not only Ghana, some are facing fuel and financial crises,’’ Mr Osei Yeboah said.
He added that main opposition National Democratic Congress has nothing better to offer Ghanaians hence the need to disregard their comments on the economy.
