Haruna Iddrisu, the minority leader in parliament, has requested that Nana Akufo Addo apologize to the Ghanaian people for his shortcomings as head of state.
The member of Parliament claims that the economic hardship in the nation shows that the president and his administration failed the people of Ghana and should apologize.
Haruna Iddrisu cited the increases in petrol costs when discussing the economic hardship in Ghana and expressed his dissatisfaction with the current administration.
“When he was holding a gallon of petrol and said this is the price of it, today let him hold that gallon of petrol and tell us that I am a disappointing failure and I have failed the Ghanaian people and not ask us to thank him for being president of Ghana. He owes Ghanaians an apology.”
“John Dramani Mahama as president then did not do a quarter of what President Akufo-Addo is getting away with yet the Ghanaian people are quiet,” he said.
