Hon. Abena Osei Asare, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Atiwa East Constituency who is also the Deputy Finance Minister has pleaded with Ghanaians and investors to have confidence in President Akufo-Addo’s led administration.
To her, Ghana’s economy will bounce back from its present difficulties including, rising inflation and the exchange rate depreciation.
The MP indicated that Ghana has a proud history to overcome challenges in that it has built strong buffers and adequate resilience for the future.
She added the country’s economy will return to the path of growth and a stable macroeconomic environment in the coming days.
Speaking to the media at a sod cutting ceremony, she called on Ghanaians to show patriotism in supporting the Akufo-Addo led government to save the economy from the current economic mess.
The sod cutting is to see to the construction of 6-unit classroom block and 6-unit toilet facility at Tiawia Subrisu, 6-unit classroom block and 6-unit toilet facility at Adasawase, 6-unit classroom block and 6-unit toilet facility at Abekwase, 6-unit classroom block and 6-unit toilet facility at Enyirasi and also Boys and Girls Dormitory for Anyinam TVETs in the area.
