Education minister, Yaw Osei Adutwum has sung praises of appreciation to two of his teachers in his early childhood days.
The minister posted on his Facebook page pictures of encounters he had with his two former teachers.
The minister was seen with Ms. Clara Oppong at her residence in Jachie in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti region.
96-year-old Ms. Clara was the minister’s primary 1 teacher at Jachie Anglican Primary School.
Before that, the minister had already honored Mr. Ankamah who was one of the teachers who prepared him for his Common Entrance exams.
He emphasized that the hard work of these and other teachers helped to build a solid foundation for him and needed the commendations.

“Right from primary to tertiary, my teachers have invested greatly in me, and for this, I am eternally grateful to them all.
I was happy to honor Mr. Ankamah at church yesterday. Mr. Ankamah was one of the teachers who prepared me for my Common Entrance exams.
Later in the morning, I visited and honored Ms. Clara Oppong at her residence in Jachie. 96-year-old Ms. Clara was my primary 1 teacher at Jachie Anglican Primary School. In addition to her commitment to teaching, her kind words and motivation built a solid foundation for me”.
