Effutu, Winneba – The New Patriotic Party leadership in the Effutu Constituency in the Central Region are very upset and calling on the Inspector General of Police to arrest the NDC National Vice Chairman, Sofo Azorka, over his threatening words he used against Hon Alexander Kwamena Afenyo Markin during the just ended by-election at Akwatia in the Eastern Region.
Effutu NPP Constituency Executives are very angry and calling on security agencies to as a matter of urgency arrest Chairman Sofo Azorka after he threatened to attack the minority leader, which will result in another by-lection in the Effutu Constituency.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, the Effutu NPP Constituency Chairman Supi Kofi Kwayera called on Peace Council, and all state institutions to speak against such distasteful comment to avoid future clashes.

Meanwhile, former Effutu Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Alhaji Kassim Zubairu also appealed to security heads, the President and the Peace Council to consider coming into this matter to find lasting solution to it.
The NDC 2nd Vice Chairman threatened the Minority Leader and the lawmaker for Effutu when the controversial MP appeared unannounced at the party’s office on Tuesday.
