President Akufo-Addo has appointed a total of thirty (30) Ministers, and sixteen (16) Regional Ministers, bringing the total number of Ministers to forty-six (46) and Eight (8) of this number are women.
Out of the eight names, six (6) are Ministers and two (2) are Regional Ministers.
Justina Owusu Banahene will be the Bono Regional Minister while Justina MaryGold Assan takes over Central Region.
Madam Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the legislator for Ablekuma West, has been called for the Communications and Digitalization Ministry and Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botwe has been re-nominated as, Foreign minister.
Former Minister for procurement, Sarah Adwoa Safo goes to the Gender, Children and Social Protection ministry, and Cecilia Abena Dapaah retains her position at the Sanitation and Water Resources ministry.
Madam Freda Prempeh, Tano North legislator, has been nominated Minister of State for Works and Housing.
The President has reassigned the Minister for Special Development Initiatives, Mavis Hawa Koomson to the Fisheries and Aquaculture Development ministry.
