The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr James Oppong-Boanuh, will today, Wednesday, 4 November 2020, update the country on preparations made by police toward the upcoming 7 December polls.
The IGP had earlier advised Ghanaians to go quietly to the voting centres on December 7 and cast their ballot without fomenting trouble adding that the law will deal with anyone who attempts to distort the elections on that day.
IGP gave the advice during a working visit to the Ashanti Region.
He is expected to touch on certain key security concerns that have ensued from election activities and the measures put in place by the police to guarantee peace during the process.
