National Committee (NC) of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) has declared that the party will outdoor its flagbearer for the December election on Saturday, 12 September 2020.
According to the party, the event shall be conducted on a virtual platform starting at 6:30 pm.
The party will only need all Greater Accra regional executives for the program and all other regional executives shall participate through virtual means.
“Constituency chairpersons have been encouraged to project the event to allow a maximum of 10 persons to watch the program, strictly observing all the COVID-19 safety protocols,’’ a statement from the party signed by its National Secretary Paa Kwesi Ackon advised.
“The party urged all constituency executives to follow the program through PPP social media handles and some selected media houses,’’ the statement added.
The statement revealed that only two people have filed their nominations for the Presidential candidate of the PPP.
The people two are Brigitte Dzogbenuku, an entrepreneur, and Willian Dowokpor, a management consultant.
