Rev. Christian Kwabena Andrew who is also known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, the founder and leader of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM) has stated emphatically that he will unseat President Akufo-Addo if he successfully goes through the filing stage.
According to him, he is going to end the NPP and NDC presidential race which has been the ‘norm’ for over 28 years come December 7.
Rev. Kwabena Andrew together with his running mate Alhaji Abu Lukeman submitted their documents on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, as they challenge the Chair of the Electoral Commission (EC), Jean Mensa, to be a neutral arbiter during the December 7 polls.
“People have been throwing out this allegation that the EC is not going to be fair. It has been the case that every EC that comes they think that they support the government that brought him or her”.
“That is why I also said this. I know they have taken these suggestions that I made because Ghanaians keep saying a lot of things about the EC boss and the others and so I know they will think about it and know what to do.”
“I am going to win this election. I will remove the NPP and the NDC, they are not going to come to power again because they are destroying our country.”
“I am convinced because of the work that I have done, the youth of this country are also suffering and the test is there for everybody to see.”
