Former President John Dramani Mahama has guaranteed the public that he will honor all of the promises he made to Ghanaians during the campaign if elected President in the 2024 general election.
Mr. Mahama, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate for 2024, listed a few of the pledges, including cutting back on the size of government, doing away with ex gratia, and doing away with the e-levy.
“I mean business on the promises I have made and intend to keep them,” he said at the closing ceremony of the 2024 NDC Policy Dialogue in Peduase in the Eastern Region last Friday.
The former president went on to say that his ideas, such the “24-Hour Economy” and the “Digital Jobs Initiative,” were workable measures that would significantly boost the nation’s fortunes, particularly the economy.
“Since 2021, I have outlined over 60 different policy proposals, carefully curated to restore our economy and national life in general, to a much better state,” he added.
