It seems the heat leading to the 2024 elections has already started in the Akropong Constituency as the NDC has vowed to resist any opression from the ruling NPP and the Electoral Commission.
At a press conference to reveal alleged fraud activities in the District Assembly Elections at the Akwateakwaso Electoral Area on Monday at the party’s office, Regional Communications Officer, Kojo Danquah, warned the NDC will not hesitate to shoot anyone who in one way or other try to use violent and illegal means to change the will of the the people in the December 7 general elections.
“We are not going to shoot and kill anybody. But we will shoot to disarm anyone who in any way try to do anything to change the will and power of the people” Kojo Danquah told the media.
Meanwhile, the party is calling for immediate transfer of the municipal Electoral Commissioner, Solomon Agalga as his actions raises questions about his neutrality and hence cannot be trusted to supervise the elections on December 7.
