The Eastern Regional director of communication for National Democratic Congress (NDC) Kojo Danquah, has explained that, they don’t have time to have a debate with someone who constantly lies to Ghanaians.
According to him, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has nothing better to offer Ghanaians and for that matter have resorted to constant lies just to tarnish the image of John Mahama and the NDC.
Speaking in an interview with Kwamina Sam Biney on Bryt Fm’s Adekye Mu Nsem, Mr. Danquah emphasised that Mahama does not need a debate to show his competency since Ghanaians know the good things the latter did during his first term as president.
According to Kojo Danquah, the NPP lied numerous times in order to gain power during its 2020 manifesto launch in Cape Coast, where they made false promises to build an airport and many other developmental projects for them but unable to complete them.
“Why should we debate the NPP ? A party that makes falsified promises and deceives their citizens? We won;t give opportunities to deceitful leaders to lie to the good people of Ghana.” Kojo Danquah added.
Mr. Kojo Danquah has said that, before the previous election to take place, the NPP won the election due to failure of NDC John Mahama to answer 150 question asked by Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
He said “But now the NDC party has asked the NPP party 5 question but no answer from that, because of the falsified promised they always do”.
