As part of preparation to snatch power from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the forthcoming 2024 general polls, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has formed a ‘coalition of former executives’ to re-energizes former executives to work effectively with current executives in the country.
The Association was formed to reenergize former executives at branch, constituency, regional and national level to share responsibility with current executives in the party.
The Coalition of former executives was aimed to ease the burden and support the mandates of the current executives.
It is a strategy by the NDC to mobilize, empower and unite past executives for activeness.
The Former Eastern Regional Secretary who doubles as National Patron of the NDC, Mr Anthony Gyampo explained that the collation of former executives will help alleviate the pressure on the current executives.
He lamented that some past experienced executives feel neglected in terms of activities in the party.

‘‘Coming together as one people will help the NDC to win the 2024 general election,’’ Mr Anthony Gyampo stated.
He cited that the coalition of former executives has not purposely established to collapse the mandates of the current executives but rather create cooperation among them.
