The Lower Manya Constituency Chairman Hopeful, Hon David Walter Hormenu has promised that pragmatic measures are been put in place to enable the National Democratic Congress (NDC) obtain four thousand five hundred (45000) votes in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
According to him, 2024 is the biggest opportunity for all Ghanaians to elect the NDC into power and to deliver the country from improper management by the Akufo Addo led-administration.
Hon. Walter Hormenu lamented that Ghanaians are crying over poor management and economic hardship by the NPP government during a campaign launch at Odumase Krobo in the Lower Manya Constituency of the Eastern Region.
He promised that the NDC will gain a huge number of votes both in the presidential and parliamentary elections, indicating that the 2024 general election is critical and therefore every Ghanaian needs to visit the polling station to vote for the NDC.
Speaking in an interview with Nhyiraba Nartey Solomon of Bryt Fm, Hon Walter Hormenu spells out the four thematic areas that will change the fortunes of NDC in Lower Menya Krobo constituency.
He outlined that he will ensure economic empowerment for the youths and the women in the party by delivering skills training to enable them to be self-reliant in the constituency.
Hon Walter Hormenu vowed to establish a welfare fund with a committee to serve as a backbone for all the members of the NDC in the Lower Manya Constituency adding that he will unite all the members to win election 2024.
He said that he will create a scheme to reward members who are working wholeheartedly for the party.
Hon Walter Hormenu pleaded with the delegates to elect him as a chairman of the NDC in the Lower Manya Constituency elections to work diligently to enable the party to retain it parliamentary seat and increase the presidential votes.
He vowed to establish a welfare fund with a committee to serve as a back-bone for all the members of the NDC in the Lower Manya Constituency.
Hon Walter Hormenu said that the saga between the management of the Electricity Company of Ghana and people of Krobolands is to intimidate and weaken the strong hold of the NDC.
