The main opposition National Democratic Congress cannot be an alternative to the New Patriotic Party in this current global economic crisis, according to Mr. Ohene Amoako.
He stressed that Ghana’s economy would have been in shambo if the NDC was in power in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war.
The Social Commentator and a member of the NPP in a phone interview with Abro the Big Mouth commended President Akufo-Addo and the Economic Management Team for their outstanding policies that have help to manage the country’s economy well despite the global challenges.
“Abro the Big Mouth, I must state emphatically that former President Mahama and the NDC cannot be an alternative to the hard working NPP and that must be taken seriously. The NDC is just interested in propaganda and lies but I tell you my brother, the NDC can never be an alternative” Mr. Ohene Amoako stated.
According to him, Ghana’s economy was touted to be one of the fastest growing economies in the world prior to the COVID-19 outbreak and argued the President must rather be hailed for the many interventions implemented to deal with the challenge.
Mr. Ohene Amoako who is also the host of ‘Delivering on our Promises’ political show on Homebase TV added “Despite the hulabaloo surrounding the implementation of the free SHS policy, government has been able to make it a reality, benefiting many Ghanaian children. Teachers’ and nurses’ allowances have been restored with a lot of investment in STEM”.
