A Strong Contender in the Race for General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party and the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Forestry Commission, Musah Superior, has said that they need fresh-minded people in the NPP party.
According to him, the party requires fresh-minded people to enable the party to win the upcoming 2024 general elections.
He indicated that the NPP party is weak and they require new energy to maintain the party in power.
Speaking in an interview with Bryt Fm correspondent, Solomon Nartey, Musah Superior affirmed that the constitutional vandalism should not be tolerated in the Regional elections.
He said that the position of the Deputy Regional Secretary is appointed by the Regional Executive Committee; not elected.
‘‘Am coming with a welfare plan because the welfare of the party members is necessary,’’ he said.
‘‘We have lost a lot of money and because some members are not paying their dues to the party,’’ Musah Superior told Solomon Nartey in one on one interview.
Musah Superior averred that the Deputy Regional Secretary, the Deputy Regional Organizer, the Deputy Regional Women Organizer, the Deputy Regional Youth Organizer, the Regional Financial Secretary, the Regional Electoral / Research Officer, and the Regional Communications Officer, who shall be appointed.
‘‘All Regional Officers shall be elected at a Regional Annual Delegates Conference, which shall be supervised by a person appointed by the National Executive Committee, from within its membership,” he added.
