The Member of Parliament for Effutu Constituency of the Central region Alexander Afenyo-Markin has sued seventeen (17) persons for damaging five billboards belonging to the complainant and NPP’s flagbearer Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia.
The writ of summon from the Winneba District court and intercepted by Bryt fm news revealed that all the 17 defendants are unemployed youth of Winneba.
The MP and also the Majority leader of Parliament is seeking for the total refund of the cost of the five billboards at a cost of Ghc100,000.00.
Meanwhile, the MP is yet to personally comment on the matter.
