Dr Christopher Ampadu, a political Analyst, has criticised NPP and NDC for lacking innovative solutions to Ghana’s developmental challenges.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Mensah Abrampa, Dr. Christopher Ampadu expressed no hope and trust for the candidates of both NPP and NDC stressing that John Mahama spending only one term as Ghana’s president and subsequently loosing to NPP on two consecutive elections clearly denotes how abysmal he performed as president.
He added that Nana Akufo Addo campaigned with a “try me” slogan which aided his victory over the NDC but failed to implement all the mouth-watering manifesto promises he made that were considered by many as potential antidotes to Ghana’s economic and social challenges stressing that Bawumia using the same “try me” mantra implies that he has nothing new to offer because he has been part of the NPP under Akufo Addo administration with all his followers and leadership hence there is nothing new he could offer to change the country from the current mess.
Dr Christopher Ampadu expressed worry over the growing politicization of the fight against Galamsey stressing that the government can fight against the canker with committed effort and a political will because the power of the people and the country are invested in the ruling government hence nothing should prevent the presidency from a firm fight against the galamsey menace to save our water bodies from the continuous deterioration.
